# Troubleshooting

> When a screen, an Apple TV, a remote or a purchase doesn't behave.

## Screens

> **A projector or TV isn't showing anything**
>
> Check that screens are on in the **Screens** menu (**⌥⌘1** for audience, **⌥⌘2** for stage), then **Refresh Displays** (**⇧⌘R**). In **Settings › Screens**, check the display is chosen for a screen, and use **Identify Screens** to see which is which.

> **The output is on the wrong display**
>
> In **Settings › Screens**, choose the right display for each screen. Slipity Pro remembers each display by itself, so it stays put next time.

> **The picture is skewed or doesn't fill the screen**
>
> Use **Corner Pin** in **Settings › Screens** to square it up, and the **Test Pattern** to check.

> **Words are on the screens but I can't see them in the preview**
>
> The preview shows the screen picked above it. Choose **Program**, or the screen you're looking for, from the menu at the top of the preview.

## Apple TV and remotes

> **No Apple TV appears**
>
> The Apple TV and your device must be on the same network, with Slipity Screen open on the TV. On the Mac, check that Slipity Pro may use the local network in **System Settings › Privacy & Security › Local Network**.

> **An Apple TV says it's in use by another Mac**
>
> Pair it again from this device. Pairing takes over from any Mac driving it now.

> **A remote can't find the Mac**
>
> Turn on **Allow Remote Control** on the Mac, and keep both on the same network. If the Mac was paired before and has been forgotten, **Pair…** again.

## Sound, cameras and listening

> **Voice Follow isn't hearing anything**
>
> Check **Listen To** in **Settings › Voice Follow**, and that Slipity Pro may use the microphone and speech recognition in **System Settings › Privacy & Security**.

> **A camera shows black**
>
> Check the camera is chosen in **Settings › Inputs**, and that Slipity Pro may use the camera in **System Settings › Privacy & Security › Camera**.

> **A film plays but there's no sound**
>
> Background media arrives muted, so it stays quiet under the words. Unmute it in the slide's inspector, or change how media arrives in **Settings › Audio & Video**.

## Library and purchase

> **A change on one device hasn't reached another**
>
> Both need the same sync in **Settings › Sync** — the same iCloud account, or the same Google account. Screens, outputs, Looks and the usage report stay with each device on purpose.

> **Every slide of an imported song is its own group**
>
> Pick all its slides, right-click, and choose **Group › None**.

> **The watermark is still showing after buying**
>
> Open **Settings › Slipity Pro** and choose **Restore Purchase**, signed in to the Apple Account you bought with. A purchase waiting for approval unlocks as soon as it's approved.

> **Sermon notes or the Set Builder say they can't read**
>
> They use Apple Intelligence. Turn it on in **System Settings › Apple Intelligence & Siri**, and wait for it to finish getting ready.
