Themes
A theme sets how a presentation’s slides look: fonts, colours, background and where the words go. A new library comes with three — for songs, scripture and sermons. Edit them, or make your own, in the Theme Editor.- Choose a presentation’s theme from Themes in the toolbar, or in its inspector.
- New Theme from Selection… on a slide’s right-click menu makes a theme from how that slide looks.
- Choose the themes new songs, scripture and imported files get in Settings › Themes.

The slide editor
In Edit, open a slide to work on its layers. The editor has:- the slides of the presentation down one side,
- the canvas, where layers are moved, resized, turned and snapped to each other and the edges,
- the layer list,
- the inspector, with the slide’s settings and the picked layer’s,
- the timeline below.

Layers
A layer can be shown only when another has words — a reference box that disappears on slides without a reference.
Timelines
Every layer has a place on the slide’s timeline: when it comes in, how — fades, moves, wipes, with curves — and when it goes. Films and sounds are clips with in and out points and transitions between them. Take the slide live and its timeline plays on every screen, in step.
Markers on the timeline can do something when they’re reached.
