Add a camera

Connect a camera or capture card, then add it in Settings › Inputs under Video Inputs. Give it a name, and choose how it Fits the screen. A camera can go on the screens as:
  • the Video Input layer, from a slide (Add Action › Show Live Video) or the Media panel,
  • a layer on a slide — the preacher in a box beside the scripture,
  • a background behind the words.

To capture: Settings › Inputs with a camera added and its framing set to Follow.

Framing

Each camera has a framing: For Follow, choose the shot — Wide (head to foot), Medium (waist up) or Close (head and shoulders) — and who to follow: the Most Prominent Person, or the Person I Tap in the viewfinder. A camera layer on a slide can have its own framing, so the same camera can be wide behind the words and close in a box beside them.

To capture: A camera following a speaker across the platform, the framed shot beside the full picture.

Changing framing during a service

Change a camera’s framing from the Screens menu on the Mac, the ••• menu on iPad and iPhone, a slide (Add Action › Camera Framing), a remote, or Siri and Shortcuts (Set Camera Framing). The change stays, as a robotic camera stays where it was last sent.

iPhone Duo’s back screen

On iPhone Duo, Back Screen Camera shows your slides on the screen on the back of the phone, with a viewfinder in a corner of yours so you can see who’s in front of it.
