A stage screen shows a stage layout instead of what the audience sees. A layout can hold:
  • the current and next slide,
  • a clock and timers,
  • the slide’s notes,
  • chords for the band, in the song’s key,
  • the stage message,
  • anything else a slide can hold.

Set one up

In the Stage Editor, starting from one of the layouts there or from nothing.

Changing layout during a service

A slide can change a stage screen’s layout when it goes live — chords for the band’s songs, notes and a clock for the sermon. Right-click the slide and choose Add Action › Stage, then the screen and its layout. Siri and Shortcuts can do it too (Show Stage Layout).

Stage messages

Put a line of text in front of the people on the platform:
  • On the Mac, Screens › Send Stage Message… (⌥⌘M), and Clear Stage Message to take it down.
  • From a remote, or Siri and Shortcuts (Send Stage Message, Clear Stage Message).

Notes

Each slide has notes, shown on stage screens and never to the audience. Add them in the slide inspector, or let Sermon notes fill them in.
